Delicious meal. The service is quick and very efficient. Unfortunately the music is too loud to be able to have a comfortable conversation. And some waiters wear the mask under their noses, even though it was quite full : /

Food and cocktails, as always, very tasty. Unfortunately it was way too full. It is hard to imagine that the hygiene concept was correctly implemented here. The tables were too close together and there was no airing at all. As long as Corona lasts, I will unfortunately avoid the most delicious cocktails in town.

The food is good and tasty, the portions are very generous and well presented. Although Jose Peñas is a restaurant chain, the food is thoroughly authentic and better than some other Mex chains. Highly recommended!

The best restaurant in the greater Ludwigsburg area. Incredibly friendly, cheerful and professional service, brilliant food even for critical restaurant-goers, reasonable prices (totally inexpensive for the quality and this taste) and well-made cocktails. The food usually arrives very quickly. Today, when we got a seat, we were told that we would have to wait up to 45 minutes (would not have bothered us) because there is so much going on. In fact the food was there in 20 minutes. The atmosphere is great, as is the music. And on Tuesday evenings the tequila shots cost only € 1. If you want to enjoy a nice, special evening, Joe Penas is the first choice.

Really delicious food and very friendly wait staff! Only some guests forget that you should also wear a mask to the table, so more attention should be paid to it. Otherwise only to be recommended!

Incredibly nice staff who are always friendly and fun. A large selection of food and drinks, they could also offer something for vegans. Very good store in the center of Ludwigsburg. Very nice outside area.

We were there yesterday (08/15/20) and the restaurant and food are great. Unfortunately, the owner, proprietor or landlord does not advise staff on the correct wearing of a mouth mask. Would be nice if this would be observed to protect many ...

As always, the food was great and the portions sufficiently satisfactory. We have never been able to object to anything. I also really like the decor and the atmosphere. The prices are all in all okay. Nothing that I would now describe as particularly cheap or particularly expensive. The only drawback: The last few times it took a long time until a waitress came so that you could pay your bill. And one or the other waitress could smile a little more, because friendliness and charisma are not exactly unimportant for this job.

Our first visit was mixed. The cellar was friendly, but not very attentive and I found it very disgusting that when I put the dips down it got into my fingers and licked them at the table before our eyes. The corona measures are skilfully ignored by the staff, no mouth-nose covering. The starter was delicious, the main course was neither really warm nor flavorful, there was no dressing on the salad.

Great ambience in the back yard. Staff super friendly and quick. The salad was delicious and a large portion. Price performance perfect.

Can only recommend the restaurant. Stayed on Saturday night. The restaurant was full. Service was super friendly and always on hand. Eat a dream. I can absolutely recommend it. Another visit is guaranteed. And if you come from 5 to 8 p.m., you can get delicious cocktails for € 5.50 a glass.

My friends always eat steaks and salads here, they say those are perfect. I went for vegetarian option and this was one of the best mexican food ever. Burrito de verduras is delicious ? Staff is friendly and helpful. Even the dessert was awesome, brownie with ice cream. Love this place.

I'm gonna give this place 5 stars even though the food is not exactly a "5 star restaurant food". It's just that I love simple Mexican food, doesn't have to be too fancy and at Joe Pena you get exactly that. Very good food, amazing cocktails (!) great and quick service and a super nice atmosphere.

Makes me wonder if they ever had great Mexican food... because the food here was not good at all. Only had one burrito on the menu for €15. Overpriced and lacks in taste. Would not recommend.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff is nice, attentive and accommodating. The food is consistently high quality and delicious. The prices are a bit higher but correspond to the quality and the service. I want to come back.

My first exitation was compensated by an original Mexican taste...I couldn't imagine that but somewhere in Germany you can really enjoy a Mexican kitchen...well done
